Ministry Verse
a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:1-12
Purpose
The purpose of this ministry is to improve and maintain communication with God and between one another in marriage. To pursue God in all we do and live out marriage based on a foundation of biblical principles. It is meant to encourage and challenge couples, in their spiritual journey, by getting them into God’s word connecting and communicating with Him and growing their marriage by connecting and communicating with one another.
As we put God’s plan into action with encouragement and grace, we will grow in love for each other and the Lord.

EVENTS:
Marriage Connection is a free monthly gathering designed to help spouses connect with each other, Christ and other couples in fun meaningful ways. Events are typically held every 3rd Sunday at 6PM.
Currently Marriage Connection is going through the series Love Like You Mean It to explore a biblical understanding of genuine love for a Marriage that Honors God.

“Lover’s Lane” Bowling Fellowship night for married couples. On March 22 at 6 pm you can enjoy 2 hours of food, fun, fellowship and Neon Bowling. Register in advance at any of our Kiosks by March 13th. Cost includes shoes and bowling ball.
Couple’s Pain Night – We are having a paint night for couples. Come spend a few hours with us as we are lead through a night of painting, fellowship and refreshments. Cost is $25 and includes all supplies and training.
Beginning in April, Marriage@CCGV is challenging couples to join a 6 week Fellowship Group tackling the series “Us in Mind”. Romans 12 says “be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” This is a 6 week couples group study will give your marriage a fresh perspective on marriage.
In Us In Mind: How Changing Your Thoughts Can Change Your Marriage, you will discover through Scripture, research, and neuroscience an ironically simple way of rethinking how you see your marriage. You will focus on just five intentional thoughts which are designed to help you love well, even when it's not easy:
- What do you think about yourself?
- What do you think about your spouse?
- What do you think about your spouse's emotions?
- What do you think about your response?
- What do you think is the purpose of your marriage?
